The death of Luella Myrle Kilfillen, age 88, wife of Russell Kilfillen, occurred at the Great Oaks Special Care Home, Wickham, NB, on Monday, October 26, 2015. She was born at Apohaqui, NB, on September 2, 1927, a daughter of the late William and Clara (Long) McNair. Luella is survived by her husband of 64 years, Russell Kilfillen of Wickham, NB; sister Ruth Beechin of Riverbank, NB; brother Harvey McNair of Sussex, NB; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Walter McNair. She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Fred Wickett, will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, from Sherwood’s Chapel, with visitation one hour before the service. Interment will take place at Riverbank Cemetery.
