Obituary of Bea Wallace

It is with sadness that the family of Anne Beatrice (Bea) Wallace, wife of John Wallace, of Norton, NB, announce her death which occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB, on July 23, 2016. She was born on July 24, 1917, in Waterside, NB, the daughter of the late William and Bessie (Deeves) Griffin. Bea is survived by her husband John; grandchildren Ricky Thomas of Surrey, BC, Lisa (Rob) Hobbs of Peffralaw, ON, Moorea (Dustin) Barrow of St. Albert, AB, Gavin Thomas of St. Albert, AB, Tracey (Tim) Brewer of Fairfield, NB, Natalie (Robert) Beaman of Saint John, NB; 7 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law Maggie Thomas and Lynda Thomas; several nieces and nephews. Bea was predeceased by her first husband Howard Thomas; sons Reg and Howard; daughter Donna Marie; grandson Larry; sisters Thelma Marr, Florence Thomas and Bessie Barton; brother Gerry Griffin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Funeral service will be held from Norton United Baptist Church, 41 Church Street, Norton, NB, at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, July 30, 2016, followed by interment in Gondola Point Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bea may be made to Norton United Baptist Church, 100 Huntley Street/Cross Roads or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
