It is with sadness that the family of Ronald Whitfield Robertson Menzies, 88, of Norton, NB, announces his death which occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on December 11, 2016. He was born on July 16, 1928 in Midland, NB, the son of the late Duncan and Florence (Robertson) Menzies. Ron is survived by his sisters Elsbeth Gibson of Fredericton, NB, and Jean Miller of Vancouver Island, BC; nephews Gordon Miller and Rob Gibson; nieces: Debbie Thorne, Lori Huggard, Barb Nicholl and Diane Reid. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held from 4 to 7pm on Thursday, December 15, 2016. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00am from Sherwood’s Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will take place in the spring at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery.
