Our hearts are saddened for you on the news that your mother is gone. There's just no one who can replace our mothers and it's hard to lose them, regardless of how many years we may have had them. Peggy was indeed a classy lady and it was always nice to see her in her trusty old car that just seemed to become part of her picture as the years went by. She had an air of elegance about her that always made her somewhat special, as she most assuredly was to you, her family. Our sincere sympathy goes out to you as you bid your farewell to her.

It was with great sadness we read of your mother's passing away. Peggy was truly a special lady ,always with a smile and that wonderful British accent! From quite a young age I can remember going to the Lone Twin Farm with Dad and Mum to see Charlie and Peggy. And in later years her coming to the P.O in her green Monaco. And a conversation I had with Richard just last year about Peggy being determined that the garage needed painting and she couldn't wait for help she did it herself on one of the hottest days ! I know you have lots of wonderful memories of her and that she will be greatly missed! Our sincere sympathy to you all.

Richard Keirstead posted a condolence
On behalf of my family, my parents and Bertha, I would like to express our deepest sympathy. With the passing of Maurice last January, the recent death of Ron, and now your Mom, the old Swamp Road neighbourhood has suffered a great loss these past few months. What a shock it must have been for your mother when she arrived at the farm - having to give up all the luxuries she had been used to back home. Lucky for her your grandparents had left the backwoods of Annidale and moved into civilization! With parents that were blessed with such long lives, raised in two very different cultures, and having lived, worked and served through the War, you must have grown up listing to some wonderful stories. Share those stories with you families, keep their memories alive, and be proud of the heritage with which your parents blessed you.
B

My thoughts are with you you as you celebrate the wonderful years, especially as your devoted mother. Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

To The Boyd Family, From Doris Beers, Lois & Mike Gillespie. Our sincere sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time of losing your Mother. No one can ever replace your Mother. It was a very wonderful and well done write up and we learned a lot about Peggy that we had never known, she certainly wasn't afraid to tackle anything by the sounds of it. Peggy was like me I could spend my entire day and week working in my flower gardens,(I guess I got that from my Father). To Stacy and Linda as Mum knows you both the best, she is now in Parkland Saint John, (Shannex) nursing home on Millidge Ave, she would love to chat anytime if you need someone to talk too. Her phone # is 644 - 7011. She asks me often of you both and wonders where you now live Stacy and how you are doing. Mum misses your visits Stacy. Take care and God Bless. Lois Beers-Gillespie
