With great sadness the family announces the death of Beverley "Bev" Armstrong, age 64, of Norton, NB, which occurred on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Sussex, NB, on July 30, 1952, a daughter of Fern (Vail) Armstrong and the late Don Armstrong. Bev was a loving and caring person who always put the needs of others before her own. She was a nurse at the Moncton Hospital for over 30 years and in that time she extended kindness and compassion to many people. She had many lifelong friends that she was close with, and enjoyed spending time with them and her family. Bev is survived by her mother Fern Armstrong; sisters: Judy Bastarache and her husband Sherman of Abbotsford, BC, and Nancy Extell and her husband Allen of Quispamsis, NB; sister-in-law Lynn Armstrong; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her father, Bev was predeceased by her brother Bob Armstrong. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. A celebration of Bev’s life will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00AM from Sherwood’s Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will take place in the spring at Riverbank Cemetery.
