It is with sadness that the family of George "Granville" Ford, age 98, announce his death, which occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on December 26, 2017. Born on January 27, 1919 in Belleisle Creek, NB, he was a son of the late George and Lucy (Kingswell) Ford. Granville is survived by his daughter Wendy Ford of Sussex, NB; granddaughter Amandah Ford; special friend Helena Berryman; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Granville was predeceased by his loving wife Eula V. (Kincade) Ford; sons: Frederick and Stephen Ford; and brothers: Gerald and Eardley Ford. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, and will be held privately. A private family interment will take place at St. Simon & St. Jude’s Anglican Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Granville may be made to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
