It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Rose Lewell, age 77, announces her passing which occurred on Friday, April 6, 2018 at her home in Norton, NB. Born in Milton, NS on April 1, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Artel and Mildred (Anthony) White. Margaret loved bingo, baseball, the Blue Jays, baking in her kitchen but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family. She was a past president of the Norton Legion for many years and always gave of her time and abilities to help others. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Doug Lewell; children: Joey White and his wife Joanne of Milton, NS, Pam Lewell and her husband Faron of East Scotch Settlement, NB, and Joan Lewell and her husband Dan of Springfield, NB; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; thirteen brothers and sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her son David Lewell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 6 to 8PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11:00AM from Sherwood’s Funeral Chapel. A private family interment will take place at Midland Cemetery in the spring.
