It is with heavy hearts that the family of Murray (Bud) Douglas Carpenter, husband of the late Barbara (Jones) Carpenter of Kars, NB announce his death which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 7th, at the age of 86. He was born on February 24, 1932 in Saint John, NB. He was a son of the late Albert & Myrtle (Vanwart) Carpenter. Murray is survived by his son James and Autumn of Oak Point; daughter Margie of Kars; brothers: Gerald of Tennants Cove, Raymond & Bonnie of Fredericton; sisters: Doreen Belyea of Wickham, Viola & Clayton Marr of Wickham; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Sheila & brothers Alfred and Hazen. Arrangements are entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. where visitation will be held Saturday, Nov 10th from 3 to 6pm.The funeral service will be held Monday, Nov 12th, 2018 from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am.
