It is with great sadness that the family of Estella May Lawrence of Midland, NB, announces her passing which occurred at Great Oaks Special Care Home on February 19, 2019. Born in Saint John, NB, on June 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Whelpley) Davidson. Estella is survived by her sons: Bob Lawrence and his wife Judy of Midland, NB, Don Lawrence of Saskatoon, SK, and David Lawrence of Saint John, NB; daughters: Jane Cormier and her husband Joe of Sussex, NB, Ellie MacKeen of Winnipeg, MB, Carol Walsh of Saint John, NB, and Helen Lawrence of Ontario; sister Lillian Sproul of Hampton, NB; special grandson Jordan Lawrence; as well as many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Estella was predeceased by her loving husband Donald Lawrence; son Harold Lawrence; brother Jack Davidson; sister Helen Jackson; and great great granddaughter Emma Jane Bernatchez. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 12 to 2pm with the funeral service beginning at 2:00pm with Rev. Richard Vincent presiding. Interment will take place in the spring at Midland Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Estella may be made to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
