It is with great sadness that the family of Muriel Louise Walker of Central Hampstead, NB, announces her passing which occurred on February 19, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Central Hampstead, NB, on October 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Hazen and Annie (Bamford) Slipp. Muriel is survived by her loving daughter Doreen Walker and her husband Owen White of Central Hampstead, NB; sister Marjorie Milner and her husband Ken; granddaughters: Morgan Walker and Shyanne White; three step-grandchildren: Nathan Morgan, Michael White and Alison White; many great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; nephew Bob Eastwood; as well as several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Muriel was predeceased by her husband, G. Fred Walker in 2006; son Brian Walker; infant son Alan Walker; infant sister; brother-in-law Roy Walker; and sister-in-law Gladys Eastwood. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 1 to 2 PM with the funeral service following at 2 PM all from Queenstown United Baptist Church. Memorial donations in memory of Muriel may be made to the Central Hampstead Cemetery or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
