It is with great sadness that the family of Ethel "Viola" Bickerton announces her passing which occurred on June 4, 2020 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born on August 2, 1932 in Mercer Settlement, NB, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Samuel & Ethel Ada (Sherwood) Pollock. Viola is survived by her loving husband, Allan Thomas Bickerton; children: Daryl Bickerton of Sussex, NB, Gary Bickerton (Wendy Hogan) of Sussex, NB, and Chris Bickerton (Linda) of Parleeville, NB; grandchildren: Valri, Steven, Josh, and Zaelis; great-grandchildren: Amelia, Lily, and Lexi; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Viola was predeceased by her sister, Marion; and brothers: Lawson, Fred, & Clifford. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held. Memorial donations in memory of Viola may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (NB), or the charity of the donor’s choice.
