I am amazed that Ruth May King shared the same name as Ella, Audrey, Janet and Shoshana Mai Matheson who as a child was blessed to visit with us Aunt Ruth and stay with her at the old Farm House rich in the deep Heritage of hard working people of her generations.. whose strong work ethic and moral spiritual compass of family being always first has been passed down to all the King cousins. As a Grandmother now I see how each precious moment I spent as a child and yes as a Grandmother when Shoshanna Mai had the help of Aunt Ruth to get her first tooth to be pulled by the bedroom door knob of what was once long ago was the bedroom of our Grandmother Mina King.. What a story this home has and the many memories of this strong courageous woman whose life for her family will continue to mean so much as a strong Model in 2020 to remind us of all of why Family is what is what is most important! To Alice, Kathryn, Glenna and all their families the life of your wonderful Mother lives on in many hearts she has touched in the big town of Norton and surrounding area all the way to her trip to visit us in Gatineau and Janet in Vancouver. In life we have no idea of how our lives impact each other and how significant our many travels and visits we made to the Farm at Norton were to our own souls evolution. In all our continued life experiences of seeing in life each day what is most important.. Maywe realize the Universe has a wonderful sense of humor! As Ruth is probably saying Judith " I can't believe after all these years your finally coming to the self realization that my middle name is May! Bless you all and deep Gratitude to you all for continuing your Mother's life living on in all of you. As her legacy she is no longer here physically with us but her spiritual values and who she was as a real person of strength and character similar to our parents Audrey and Dawson live on in all of us. The world needs such models to live on in the next generations and what a blessing they all are now in eternal peace. Passing the torch on to all of us. To live their values and hard work ethic. So to all of her family and many friends touched by her example. To all with whom she blessed with her love and light.. as evidenced by all of these condolences may we add our voices to the rest! Judith, Bob, Rob, Chalanne, Shoshana Mai and Ryker send our deepest thoughts, love and prayers for you all in the days ahead. Both condolences with celebrations.. may we see how blessed we are as our ancestors are now in the Spiritual world of Creator cheering us all through COVID 19!
