Obituary of Launa Lunn
The death of Launa May (Mathias) Lunn, age 66, wife of the late Graham Lunn of Waverley, NS, occurred as a result of a fire at Long Point, NB, on Saturday, July 17, 2010. She was born on May 10, 1944, the daughter of the late John and Flora (Roberts) Mathias.
Launa was a graphic artist in the printing business for many years and then spent six years at university to officially become a historian. She then went on to earn a B.Ed.
Launa is survived by her daughter Amber May and Terrance Nelson of Dartmouth, NS, Crystal Middleton-Lunn and Tony Middleton-Lunn of New Zealand, Michelle and Greg Stevens of NS; son Anthony and Lorrainne Lunn, and Bryan and Joanne Lunn of NS; grandchildren Roger, David, Amanda; sister Anne Mathias-Moses of Yarmouth, NS; brothers Robert (Jean Jeans) Mathias of Waverley, NS, Stuart and Anne Mathias, and Christopher Mathias, all of Wales; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting will be at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Funeral service, with Rev. George Howe officiating, will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday July 24, 2010. Interment will be in Kiersteadville Cemetery.
