The death of Eva Kierstead Hatfield, age 93, of Hatfield Point, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB, on February 4, 2011. She was born on February 24, 1917, in Saint John, NB, the daughter of the late Amos and Daisy (Allaby) Hatfield. Eva is survived by nephews Will and Ellen Hatfield of Hatfield Point and Stewart Hatfield of Brooklyn, NY; great nephews Mark and Kathy and Ron; great niece Patti and Charles Kennedy; great-great nephews Stuart Hatfield and Simon Kennedy; great-great nieces Laura, Carla and Krista Hatfield and Hilary Kennedy. She was predeceased by her brothers Stewart and Alfred Hatfield; sisters-in-law Della and Irene At Eva’s request there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Eva’s life, conducted by Rev. Fred Wickett, will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., from Outreach Pentecostal Church, Hatfield Point, NB. Interment will take place in Bayview Cemetery at a later date.
