The death of Carroll Francis Cummings, age 67, of Norton, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on March 7, 2011. He was born on August 1, 1943, in Norton, NB, the son of the late Henry and Clara (Bagley) Cummings. Carroll is survived by daughters Tara and Traci Cummings; brothers Bill Cummings, Phil and Linda Cummings, Jack Cummings; sisters Dodie Campbell, Della and Claude Griffiths, Honie and Bill Miller, Louise and Chris Cummings, Mary Ellen and Brian Snyder, Betty Whalen; aunt Marie Harmer; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Maurice; brothers-in-law Ora Campbell and Richard Whalen. At Carroll’s request there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Sussex Sharing Club or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
