The death of Marilyn Lois Jane Parlee of Norton, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on Sunday, November 20, 2011. She was born on November 24, 1954, in Saint John, NB, the daughter of Shirley (Gale) Hickey-Chapeski, of Douglas, ON, and the late Robert Munro. Marilyn is survived by her mother Shirley and her husband Len Chapeski; daughter Crystal and Rob Barker of Petitcodiac; son Thomas and Tara Parlee of Calgary, AB; grandchildren Lucas and Lexie Barker; sister Jill and Reg Parlee of Norton; brothers Victor Munro of Sussex, John and Karen Hickey of Ottawa, ON, Shawn and Barbara Hickey of Haley, ON, Joel Hickey of Braeside, ON; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Marilyn was predeceased by her step-father John Hickey and sister Sandra Lifford. The family will receive visitors at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, conducted by Father Arnie Hachey, will be held from Sacred Heart Church, Norton, NB, at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, November 25, 2011. Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Marilyn, may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or a memorial of the donor’s choice.
