Obituary of Bobby Griffiths

The death of Robert Henry Griffiths, age 88 , of Norton, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB, on February 25, 2012. He was born on August 11, 1923, in Norton, NB, the son of the late Harry and Pearl (Tapley) Griffiths Bob's first love was his family. Spending holidays and family events was something he always looked forward to. The Ocean Steel Picnics were a highlight each year. When leaving each one, he would start to talk about the next one. The Legion Branch #76 meant a lot to him. Going door to door with the Poppies was a highlight. St. Andrew's United Church, where he attended, was like home to him. Attending, his whole life, any event or function was important to him. In his later years watching "The Price Is Right" was an exciting hour. The other thing was watching Toronto Maple Leafs beat Montreal. Bobby is survived by sister-in-law Joyce Griffiths; niece Kim and Rob Barton of Norton; great nieces and nephews Candace, Michael, Tristan, Amanda, Stacey and Shelby; great-great niece Jayden; several cousins.
