The death of Aubrey Campbell Otis, age 86, husband of Joan (Davidson) Otis of Norton, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sunday, July 22, 2012. He was born in Southfield, NB, on February 3, 1926, the son of the late Alexander and Emma (Campbell) Otis. Aubrey is survived by his wife Joan; son Russell and Bernice Otis of Norton; daughter Doris Otis (Charlie) of Norton; grandchildren Mark (Ivy), Sherry, Wendy, Amanda, and Laurie; great grandchildren Natalie, Nevin, Brandon, Damian Cameron, Adrian, Adisen, Rhaya, Avrie and Austin; brothers Elvin and Lorna of Sussex Corner, Ernest and Sally of Southfield, Murray and Marion of Apohaqui, and Clarence and Joyce of Parlee Brook; sisters Ethel Gailey of Apohaqui and Marie Henderson of Hatfield Point; sister-in-law Joyce Pollock of Cassidy Lake; several nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Lawrence and Ronald. He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Jeannette Cosman, will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am., Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Interment will take place in Riverbank Cemetery.
