It is with heavy hearts, that the family of Evelyn Elizabeth Forgrave (nee Smith) announce her sudden passing on August 29, 2012. Born in Lower Millstream, NB, on January 13, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Eules and Evelyn Smith. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Nelson E. Forgrave. She is survived by her son Bob of Rocky Mountain House, AB; daughters Sandra of Barrie, ON, Brenda of Ottawa, ON, and Melissa of Dawson Creek, BC; grandchildren Amanda and Cory, Gabrielle and Madison, Kate and Meg; great grandchildren Jacobi and Skyler; brothers Ashley and Raymond; sisters Mary, Mabel and Hazel. Evelyn was also predeceased by brothers Eules and Harry. Evelyn will be fondly remembered as a gentle soul with a generous spirit. Her extraordinary love for children shone throughout her life. She enjoyed life at the lake, antique collector tins, gardening, fiddle music, bus trips and cookbooks. Resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Monday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Otty Forgrave, will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am., on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Interment will take place in Midland Cemetery.
