Obituary of Ron Kaye
The death of Ronald Murray Kaye, age 63, of Lower Cove, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was born in Sussex, NB, on April 22, 1949, the son of Jean (McQuinn) Kaye and the late Walter Kaye.
Ron was a life-long resident of Lower Cove, and worked the family dairy farm where he was raised. He also worked in construction and trucking for many years. Ron drove many miles and saw lots of country, but always maintained that there was no place like home. He loved the farm, country music, playing his guitar and a good kitchen party.
Ron will live on in the hearts of his daughters Angela Kaye of Cochrane, AB, Holly (Kaye) Tischer of Red Deer, AB; his sons Kristopher Aiton (Laura) of Riverbank, and Daiton Aiton (Melissa) of Hampton and their mother Beth Aiton; grandchildren Noah Tischer, Justin, Makayla and Jacob Aiton; mother Jean Kaye of Sussex; brothers Paul (Alexa) Kaye of Scotchtown, David (Sharon) Kaye of Sussex, Harold (Donna) Kaye of Lower Cove and Doug (Jennifer) Kaye of Smiths Creek and Bryant (Beth) Brown of Picadilly; his sister Barb (Tony) Dodds of Quispamsis; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive visitors at the Roachville Hall from 3 to 5 pm. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. A private family interment will take place in Roachville Cemetery.
Donations to the Saint John Regional Palliative Care Unit, Roachville Cemetery or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
