With heavy hearts, the family of Sharon Ann Raven announces her death, which occurred at her residence in Norton, NB, on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was the wife of Ernest Raven. Sharon was born in Sussex, NB, on December 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Ernest and Elva (Robinson) Alcorn. Sharon will be sadly missed by her husband Ernest; daughters Jennifer Vandersluys and her husband Gerry of Norton, NB, Kate Golden and her husband Ryan of Norton, NB; precious grandchildren Dane, Keean, Tate, Reece, Myla; brother Richard Alcorn and his wife Wendy of Norton, NB; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Friday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8PM. Funeral service, conducted by Pastor John Carroll, will be held from the Norton Wesleyan Church, 676 Route 124, at 11:00AM, on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Interment will take place in Midland Cemetery.
