Obituary of Anne Morton
The death of Anne Louise (Mercer) Morton, wife of James C. Morton, of Hampton, NB, occurred at her residence, on Thursday, April 25, 2013. She was born on October 11, 1950, in Sackville, NB, the daughter of Louise (Pickle) Mercer and the late Guy Mercer.
Anne is survived by her husband Jim; sons Duncan Morton and Amy Johnston of Hampton, Terry Morton of Saint John, and James and Angie Morton of Hampton; daughters Shelley and Bill Hart of Hampton, Laurie and Emile LeBlanc of Hampton and Julie and Jeff Curley of Saint John; 13 grandchildren Hannah, Dakota, Matthew, MacKenzie, Emma, Jordan, Lena, Jackson, Emile Jr., Josh, Brady, Marik, and Jacob; brother The Rev. David Mercer and his wife Marlene of Fredericton; sister Mary Mercer of Gondola Point; nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend Sharon MacFarlane of Fredericton.
The family will receive visitors at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by The Rev. David Mercer, will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel, at 11:00 am. on Monday, April 29, 2013.
