The death of David Austin Brown, age 75, of Snider Mountain, NB, occurred at his residence on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Dave was born on October 23, 1938 in Snider Mountain, NB, the son of the late Austin and Rosemond (McMillan) Brown. Dave is survived by his sisters Faye (Roy) Varley of Hamilton, ON, Dorothie Brown (Gamil Khalil) of Sussex, NB; sister-in-law Carol Brown of Riverbank, NB; nieces Leanne Mantey, Paula (Sean) McFadden; nephews Tom Varley, Jeremy Mercer, Shawn Brown, James Mercer; great nieces Katie, Nicole; great nephews Jonathan, Ronan; aunts Miriam Haynes, Pearl Curry, Elspeth Jones; uncle Bert (Peggy) McMillan; many cousins and his cat Bubbles. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Brown. He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre, (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 12:00 to 2:00pm. A Legion Tribute will then be held from Sherwood’s Chapel, at 2:00pm, followed by a Funeral Service, which will be conducted by Jeanette Cosman. Interment will take place in Riverbank Cemetery.
