It is with sadness that the family of Dorothy Jean Fleming, age 74, announce her death which occurred at her residence, in Norton, NB on Saturday, April 4, 2015. She was born on April 11, 1940, in Norton, the daughter of the late Samuel and Rita (Mahoney) Fleming. Dorothy is survived by sisters Elizabeth Sommers of Norton, Leona Eatman of Saint John, Debbie Fleming of Norton, Tricia O’Donnell of Sussex, Kathryn Ferguson of Sussex and Marjorie Crane of Bedford, NS; brothers William and Marilyn of New Market, ON, Murray, Francis and Paul of Norton, Patrick of Saint John and John of Sussex; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation on Tuesday, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Norton at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery in the spring.
