Brent and family, Bob and I were very fortunate to have known both your parents. Your mom was so much fun. We had many great visits back and forth when the kids were younger. We exchanged Christmas cards every year and I kept her updated. Always seemed to miss her if we stopped by but glad she was busy. You were very fortunate to have such great parents. Their gardens were always so beautiful and I was always amazed at how much supplies they would have stored in the basement. I said to you’re mom, you’re like a grocery store, lol. We still have the cement animals your dad made from plastic piggy banks, one for Jill and one for Brian. Even those we didn’t see your mom these last few years, Bob and I often talked about them. Love And condolences, Bob, Susan,Brian and Jill Constantine

Marlene and I shared a special friendship over the last 30 years.
I was fortunate enough to enjoy many fun times with her. One summer in particular that stands out is when we drove from Ontario to Cambridge Narrows
to vacation with her and Phil in their home, what am adventure that was!!! We made the journey with her 2 grandkids , 2 cats, and 2 dogs upon arrival she laughee and said I was just as crazy as her!
Early on in our relationship she decided I couldn't bake ( she was right ) but was an awesome gardener and we would focus our energy there. We spent countless hours sharing this passion. I planted her gifted seeds in almost every location we have lived over the years. I actually have some of her saved seeds which I plan to iplant in the spring in her honor .
I will cherish our memories and find a special place to display our passion in my garden.
Love Always Bernadette Landry

I have so many fond memories of childhood and growing up with Marlene. She was an amazing grandmother to Jonathan and I and always adored us.......especially Jonathan whom wrote a report about her for school when he was a little boy. She loved to tell that story and always beamed with love and pride as she did.
Marlene made us many treats growing up as many of you whom where close to her will know she was an amazing baker!! And man did she make a mean Lemon Meringue pie!! To this day I still haven't found one that compares!
She had a great sense of humor and was always one to tell you not to fuss over her.
I remember her teaching us at a young age to be frugal with our money, the importance of coupons/sales and to stock up, and all the treasures you could find at a dollar store.....lol.
Marlene was a very strong woman, even in her last days telling me not to cry that she was ok :(
We will forever remember all the love, time, summers and memories.
Love you Marlene
Your grandchildren
Crystal & Jonathan

So many memories of Aunt Marlene to share here. Her sense of humour is what I'll remember most. To this day, 45 years after she joked about receiving goo-me-vues at the Totem canteen, I pronounce marshmallows that way. You are missed.
