Marie was such an authentic, positive, and encouraging person. I never once saw her without a smile. She never demanded respect because she never had to. Through her actions and words, she earned it. It was simply her nature to treat people kindly. I send my deepest sympathy to John and family.

A beautiful woman, and friend., to all. In recent years, we seemed to be meeting each other, in Dr's offices, or in the halls of oncology. She always had a smile, and some encouraging words.We always joked, we had to stop meeting this way.LOL!

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Marie .She was a wonderful person and was happy to call her friend .We had many laughs over the years playing cards .I remember the night we went raiding Pope's corn patch and fell in the ditch only to be told later we could help ourselves !!
