Cindy, Candy, Dale, Linda, Joyce and families, Janice and I were so sad to hear of Hank's passing. However, it has also brought back a life time of great memories. Everything from the assistance given to our family at the time of the fire in 1970, to boxing with Dale at your home on main street and of course more than a few political events. Our thoughts are with you at this time of loss and we hope that can all get to share lots of good memories as well. Chris and Janice Miller

We express our deepest sympathy to each one of the Myers Families in the loss of their dear Hazen. We grew up and went to school together and both caught poliomyelitis in our early school years. In our recent years enjoyed being to church together and playing crokinole. May many cherished memories bring comfort in these difficult days. Our thought and prayers.

Joyce and children
I have known Hank for many years, since his grocery store days. Later years it always fun to run into Hank at a store, he had a wonderful sense of humour, always ready to tell a story and a big smile. It is strange I was thinking about him a few days ago, thinking I had not seen him for awhile, wondering if he was sick. He will be missed by his family and those who knew him well.

Joyce, Cindy, Candy, Dale, Linda, and family.
Lisa and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Hanks ' passing. He was a good friend to my parents and was loved and respected by us all. I used to love to listen to Hanks ' stories. "Hurricane Hank" and Bennetts ' recital of " The Charge of the Light Brigade" , ending with Bennett burying Hanks ' cleaver into the butcher block, were just two of many that had me falling down laughing. The Sussex area really benefited from Hanks ' time in politics. He was a great representative on council and in the legislature. Many people appreciate the hard work that Hank has done for them and respect him for it. Once again, we are so sorry to hear of this sad news and we send our condolences out to you all.

I’m am sorry for your great loss. That is the most beautiful and fitting obituary I have ever read. I was very lucky to meet and spend some time with Hank in his later years. I’ve heard so much about his family and his adventures. I see from his wonderful tribute, there was so much more to know! He was a mentor and a friend. He’ll live on in the grandchildren that he loved so much:) xo

To all the family of my dear friend Hank. A tribute to Hank is hard to begin as there are just so many “beginnings”. The news of Hank’s passing was deeply felt by myself, my wife and my children. So I should mention past staff who also knew Hank well and have reached out with their sympathies. We all extend our sincerest sympathies to his family and also his multitude of friends. Hank served his community, province and country admirably. As Minister of Agriculture, he served and was reciprocated in kind by those many he assisted and knew so well. His affable ways were a trait with Hank so much so I often thought the term “affable” must have been coined in his honour. Certainly, it could have been. Hank will be greatly missed not only by his adoring family but by his many friends, admirable political foes and a multitude of acquaintances alike.
