Please except my condolences. You do not know me, although I'm a second cousin to Sydney Erb. My Mother Lois Erb Guckert and my father Alfred Guckert went to visit Millie 20 years ago. They had a wonderful visit with her. My dad bought a quilt from Millie for my mother. It was a beautiful quilt! I believe that was the last time they were able to go to Canada and visit my mothers cousins and aunt Doris's family. I am Lois(Erb) and Al Guckert Daughter Sharon Guckert Simeone. We live in Woburn Ma (the Boston Area) USA. My Grandparents were Madeline and Sydney Erb of Woburn Ma.

Sorry to hear of Millie's passing.She was a good neighbour.She mended and patched many pairs of jeans and dress pants for Bev;never charging enough. Whenever I stopped in ,she almost always had a quilt on.'
I remember when my Dad died,Millie was at my door within hours with a sheet of hot biscuits.
She was a hard working woman with a large family.She was blessed with a very full and long life.
