Obituary of John MacIntosh Wallace

It is with great sadness that the family of John MacIntosh Wallace announce his passing which occurred on Monday, December 5, 2022, at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB. Born in Midland, Ontario on August 16, 1939, he was the son of the late Donald John and Ethel Kathleen (Eplett) Wallace of Cochrane, Ontario.

John is survived by daughter Beth-Lynn Snelgrove; sisters: Sally Shirley and Bonnie Devine (Frank); special nephew Daryl (Doreen) Alberts and their children Jonathan & Shawna; as well as several friends, neighbours, nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his loving wife Bea Wallace; and sister Marilyn Goodhew.

A sincere thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff of the Sussex Health Centre – East Wing for their excellent care given to John and his loved ones during his time there. Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Rothesay United Baptist Cemetery, Gondola Point, NB. Family & friends are welcome to come and celebrate John’s life.
