Obituary of Marlene Elizabeth Webster
With family at her side, at the York Care Centre, Marlene was promoted to her home in heaven on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
Born in Belyeas Cove on August 15th, 1939, Marlene was the daughter of the late Rupert and Edna (Beale) Webster. Survived by her eight children, Laureen Gunter (John), Carol Sudsbear (Danny), Mary McGovern (Brian), Shirley McGovern (Chester), Judy Hunter (Ralph), Paul LeBlanc (Andrea), Danny LeBlanc (Jovy) and Terry McGovern (Jackie). She is also survived by her sisters, Davene Nice, Suzanne Webster (Ron), Loretta Hanson (Art), Norma Mullaly (Wayne) and her brother Norman Webster (Marie). She was predeceased by her brothers Raymond (Kathleen), Victor (Shirley) and Frank. She was a special Gramma to Mark Gunter (Caryn), Charity Hale (Jared), and Great Gramma to Allyson Gunter, Austin Gunter, Charlotte Hale and Katherine Hale. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Sherwood’s Funeral Home, 18 Scovil Rd, Norton, on Saturday, April 29th from 5-8pm and Sunday from 1-2:30pm. Funeral will also be at Sherwood’s Funeral Home on Sunday, April 30th at 3pm with Pastor Chris Price Officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Belyeas Cove Cemetery.
