Obituary of Patricia Elizabeth Brown

Our beloved sister and friend, Patricia Elizabeth Brown, passed away on November 27, 2023 at Shannex Tucker Hall, Saint John, NB. She was born on January 11, 1947, a daughter of the late Bruce and Rita (Urquhart) Brown.  Family members and friends supported her during her last days.

She became a registered nurse and worked for many years in the emergency department and, later, the maternity ward of Saint John Regional Hospital.

She was fiercely loyal to her family, including her sister, Barbara, her brother, David, and his wife, Cal. She did not take friendship lightly and showed the same devotion to her friends and sometimes people she barely knew.

We thank the Shannex long-term care community staff for lovingly supporting her when Tucker Hall became her home. Many have mentioned her kindness. And Patricia certainly possessed a kind heart. She touched many people, more than we will ever know.

Say not in grief that she is no more but say in thankfulness that she was.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB.  It was her decision not to have a funeral service. She was buried at Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point beside her parents on November 30, 2023.
