My fondest memories of Marlene were visiting with her and the love she had for her family. She was happiest with her family by her side. She had a beautiful smile and was so very proud of each and every one of her children. Visiting with her she always had room for just one more and everyone was helpful in creating a happy family atmosphere. She was truly a remarkable lady and had such a positive attitude. My heart is sad for her family who she leaves behind knowing full well that we will meet again some day on the other side. May her family feel much love from her many friends at this very sad time and feel the wonderful arms of Jesus surrounding them and holding them at this very difficult time. RIP Marlene and we will always hold a very special place in our hearts reserved just for you. We loved you in this life and love you more as you are in your heavenly home with your father, the one you lived for, served and had a blessed hope beyond this life.

Dear Ralph and Boyd family,
Very sorry for your great loss. This is a difficult time for each of you. The loss of a life long partner, a mom, grandmother, great grandmother, dear friend and sister is more harsh than words can express. Marlene was a beautiful kind lady, one who loved to share her faith in our Lord and Saviour. Let the assurance and comfort of knowing she is with her Saviour and that you will be united again one precious day. Let all the wonderful memories and lessons learned from knowing and loving her help to carry you through this part of life’s most difficult journey.
My heart and prayers are wth you.

Dear Uncle Ralph, cousins and their families…..I was so saddened to hear of Aunt Marlene’s passing. So vivid to me are memories of visiting your home in the summers - Aunt Marlene would always provide marvellous meals and fun. She was the most amazing storyteller and around the dinner table in the evenings we were often left giggling and heartily laughing at her comical rendition of a recent event or a shared memory.
She was a sweet soul, gentle speaking, and faithful in her devotion to the Lord. Although unable to connect in these later years, memories of her have, and will, last a lifetime.
Jeff and our children, Jacklyn and Jared, send our love and prayers. May the Lord continue to provide peace to your hearts and comfort in your sorrow. And may memories of precious times together continue to flood your hearts with love.

To the family of Aunt Marlene.
Please accept our most sincere sympathy for your loss.
We have a lot of fond memories of time spent with Uncle Ralph and Aunt Marlene.
A lot of those memories involve food, especially her amazing chocolate cakes with
boiled frosting, and those soft homemade rolls that turned out the same every time she made them.
In fact, she could very well have been one of the best cooks in the history of food.
Always remember the good times you had together.
You will be in our thoughts in the difficult days ahead.
We think of her a lot, because we thought a lot of her.
We will be making a donation in memory of Aunt Marlene to the Atlantic Ladies Mother’s Memorial Program.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your family’s home (and your mother specifically) was always an integral part of our family’s vacations to Saint John during the years of my childhood. We always enjoyed our stops to your home for your mom to “do” my mom’s hair. We children played together as the adults caught up with their friendship and then continued on our way to Saint John. I remember your mom’s smile and laughter and her being genuinely kind. I am so very sorry for the loss you have experienced and know that my memory of her makes me smile fondly!
