During the summers of 1973-1978 I was fortunate to work on the Dykeman farm picking strawberries, potatoes etc. I will always remember how loving and generous Dina was to all of us girls. If I close my eyes I can still hear Dina at the bottom of the stairs calling: girls, girls it’s time to get up. Dina was a wonderful cook and we all loved our time with the Dykeman family. I can’t imagine how hard this loss must be for all of Dina’s family, friends and neighbours. How blessed we all were to have known Dina. Dina had so many roles during her lifetime. There is no better role model and all of us girls learned so much from Dina. Rest in peace and enjoy eternity with Norman. Much love and condolences to all of the Dykeman family. Bernie

My wife Francine and I have been friends with Leslie and his family for thirty years. We always cherished our times with our young children on the Dykeman farm. These were special people. This LADY endured unimaginable pain and loss with dignity and strength, snd never lost her sense of humor. An example for all of her family. A matriarch of epic proportions. Rest easy Dina, good and loyal servant, and may angels carry you to your Norman.

Dear Dykeman Family, We are saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. My remembrances of Dina can be traced back to our Cambridge Rural High School's yearbooks when we called upon her every year to write the graduates' prophecies. We would send her each graduate's name and a bit about them and she would work her wonders in poetic form. And, when she had time to do this with all her duties around the farm and with family to take care of, I will never know. I know it is difficult to lose the matriarch of your family, but she will live on in each of you. Thinking of you all. Jack and Rosalie
