Huggard – Lockhart, Annabelle (Williams)
“Yea though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me”
Our dear mother, in her 91st year, on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Sussex Health Centre passed through that Valley. Mom was born in Annadale, NB, the only daughter of the late Harold & Blanche (McLean) Williams.
Mom is survived by her children: Connie Huggard Cripps of Avonmore, NB, Sharon Huggard Kelly (David) of Miramichi, NB, Neil Huggard of Florida, US, Tony Huggard (Jeanette) of Fleming, SK, Terry Huggard (Lori) of Belleisle, NB, Jackie Huggard of NB and Nicole Lockhart of ON; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother Fran Williams of Apohaqui; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Huggard of Belleisle, NB; sisters-in-law Bernice & Barbara; special chosen son, Mike McIsaac and beloved double cousin, Velzora Newman; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Annabelle was predeceased by her 3 brothers, Roland, Andy and Claude Williams, and her second son Billy Huggard.
Mom was known for her quick whit and sense of humour. She was a beautiful singer, and enjoyed playing her Gibson guitar, as well as the old pump organ and piano accordian.
In her younger years she loved working on the farm, for several years she worked in the blueberry fields, as a field boss for Bridges Brothers.
Mom lived independently until February 2022 at which time she become a part of the family of Living Hope Special Care Home. She enjoyed the wonderful care she received from owners, Karl & Wilma Ledin & their competent and caring staff.
We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you for the loving care our mother received from Dr. Haslett and his office staff over the years. We also consider it a true blessing for the special care that was administered to mom by the nursing staff and others at the Sussex Health Centre. We are so thankful for you all.
