To Pauline and all your family, I am so so sorry to hear this news. I grew up in Owen Sound and knew Larry as a great friend to everyone. He made me laugh so hard at times, it was like a vacation from the everyday of things. My heartfelt condolences to you Pauline and your family.

To Pauline and all who were part of Larry Alderman’s Families, words cannot express how sorry I am to read of his sudden passing. My heart goes out to all. I, along with many others do share in your grief.
To say that Larry’s ability to accept one and all as individuals, would be an understatement. His friendships were unique to all who called him “friend” and his friendships were as varied as they were extensive.
Larry understood intuitively, that it was the little things in life that were important. The impromptu phone calls, remembering birthdays, acknowledging the memorable dates (good and / or bad) in other’s lives that were relevant to those of us with whom he had bonded over the years. The huge ‘bear - hugs’ he gave when back in his home town for a visit, made one feel as warm as being encased in a safe cocoon.
From growing up in the same neighbourhood block (the 50’s) to connecting as teenagers (the 60’s) and throughout our 20’s into our early 70’s, I have been fortunate to be his friend.
Larry, you will be missed, but you will not be forgotten. Thank you for being you. XO

Our deepest condolences to Pauline and family.
On Christmas Eve we walked through the woods with Larry, not knowing it would be the last time seeing him.
Even though we didn’t know each other for a long time, Larry was always helpful and a kind funny guy.
We will always remember him when we listen to some Rolling Stones tunes.

Such sad news. My condolences to you Pauline, Robin, Steven and their families. I first met Larry in 1981. Liked him right off the bat. He was such a character, a good friend to everyone. I always had a smile after seeing him.

.So many memories of my Brother Larry His talents were outstanding. Just let him know what was wanted and he'd design or fix it. His droll humour. Although there were times that we mixed like oil and water however,, the love we had for each other was always there. It's time to Rest Easy Larry. We'll meet again one day..
